About This Position:

This position will report to our Project Manager of Strategy and Design, with a dotted line to the CEO, who is the lead Strategic Architect and heads up Client Services within our creative agency. Our UX Designers will work with our project managers, digital coordinators, content associates and data analysts to design the best eCommerce and digital platform solutions.  Deliverables may include logo/CID brand development, style guides, digital graphic identity systems that expand upon art direction, full responsive comp delivery (up to 4 rounds) in 5 sizes (preferably in Sketch), involvement in Functional Specification documentation and UAT testing (including developing user case scenario test plans) within the DEV cycle.

Who You Are:

  • Capable of designing and delivering fully responsive digital comps for all platform web pages including core pages, operational pages (such as customer service, checkout) and email design (both promotional campaigns, operational email templates and auto-responders)
  • Prior track record with aesthetically-driven, premium brand development website design including CID and art direction
  • Technologically savvy – with a working, best practice knowledge of SEO, UXD, CMS administration
  • Can develop and deliver digital style guides including brand web graphic identity, image asset specifications, font identity systems for in-house management
  • Excellent (and detailed) communication in interpreting design direction and in addressing design feedback
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines

Requirements/Qualifications

Our UX Designer should have:

  • 5+ years experience in developing web and digital design for premium, aesthetically driven brands (prior work in Sketch a plus)
  • Portfolio includes design in eCommerce in addition to Content Management Systems (Magento and WordPress experience a plus)
  • Custom Email template development (Mailchimp experience a plus)
  • Style Guide and creative asset development (samples to be provided)
  • Prior development exposure to Functional Specification documentation, programmer requirements, UAT testing through to platform execution
  • Collaboration tools: Dropbox, Google Apps, Time Tracking software (i.e. Toggl), Sketch, Bug-tracking software familiarity, Keynote (Bonus!)
  • Ability to work in key moments at neta’s NYC office as requested
