Kirby is our Senior Digital Project Manager and as some like to call her, queen of the calendar. She provides support in client engagements by serving as the point person between our clients, internal resources and our resource partners, ensuring we allocate time and resources efficiently to hit deadlines. We’re always looking to become a better, faster, and stronger team; Kirby’s job is to help us achieve our goals and do just that. When a project phase comes to an end, she analyzes every phase of work and collaborates with internal resources to improve our process, and in turn creates team efficiencies that ultimately serve our clients’ needs in the best way possible. Inevitably there will be mistakes, but when we make mistakes, Kirby ensures the person who benefits is our next client.

Kirby graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Economics. Her love of politics and desire to go to law school brought her to Washington DC upon completing undergrad. After a short stint on the Hill, where she subsequently learned the House of Cards lifestyle wasn’t for her, she joined a real estate startup as a digital manager. From there, her love for the startup life grew, and she bounced around to a couple different DC startups before the Big Apple started calling her name. Through her myriad of roles, Kirby found she was drawn to digital operations which brought her to n e t a in the fall of 2019.

Kirby grew up in Houston, TX and if you spoke to her for more than 5 minutes, she’d probably tell you all about it. Although she misses the Mexican food and the football, she definitely loves the infectious, contagious, fast-paced energy of NYC. She can’t picture any other city she’d rather be in, except well, maybe Amsterdam. Someday.

In her own words…

What I love about working for a small agile startup like n e t a is the ability to pivot. Fast. There is no bureaucratic red tape, and no two days at n e t a are ever the same. I’m consistently reminded why I love working with a team that fosters creativity and growth, and never makes you feel ashamed to throw an idea out. I learn new things every single day and cannot wait to see what our company accomplishes next.
